DESCRIPTION

Digital Implant Workflows gives attendees two days of didactic training in digital surgical planning, guide design and fabrication, temporary prosthetic design and fabrication, and an in-house digital technology workflow. The course will cover both tooth and soft tissue borne guides, how to capture all required data accurately and efficiently, and how to use the newest dental implant technology in-office.

The third day of the course, each attendee will be able to use their fabricated pieces on live patients. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own cases (DICOM and STL files) to design their own pieces to bring back to their offices.

Learn how to use surgical and prosthetic design/planning software

Learn how to design a surgical guide

Understand the steps to finish and sleeve a surgical guide correctly

Learn how to design immediate temporaries and custom healing abutments

Understand the proper techniques and uses of CBCT, intraoral scanners, 3D printers, and photogrammetry

Understand how to avoid common errors made in digital implant dentistry
